Okay, so I read all the comments previous as I was looking around for an emergency mechanic. I had some expectations for time management and communication issues, but as a lot of comments also mention, I think Chad is worth the wait.

He takes a while because he is genuine and caring. Once he starts working on your car he will stick it out until it’s finished and goes above and beyond expectations with his work and even the little extra things he notices.

I think a lot of people are thinking this small business should run as efficiently as an actual shop, but you need to realize this company is family owned and run by Chad and his wife, and they essentially work it 24/7. This is not a corporation but a hardworking, honest small business that, as Chad put it, “started for the blue collar folks who just need to be able to get to work and not pay crazy fees.”

Prices were better than we were expecting, and even though Chad didn’t end up getting to us until after dark, they still charged us for the daytime price.

He completed our service and let us know about some other problems he found without trying to sell us repairs or parts or anything, just to let us know. Explained it all very well and even communicated some things that weren’t huge problems that any other mechanic would probably take advantage of and try to sell us on more labor or parts.

All in all, I would obviously love to have shop level communication and time management, sure, but I think it’s a more than acceptable trade for the great quality of work and quality of character in the worker. You can tell Chad lives for the job (he literally has a check engine light tattooed on his hand lol) and he’s a stand up guy.

Plus you really can’t beat same day, late hours repair work being available when you need it. Who else would come on a Sunday evening to make an hour+ of repairs? :)

We will definitely be working with them again.
